This is a PRE-RECORDED, self-paced retreat which provides opportunity for anyone to enjoy icon writing regardless of location and schedule.

This is the sixth Ethiopian icon we have offered at Sophia Icon Studio! The Crucifixion icon will be based on an illuminated manuscript painting (see example) and is very similar in style to the other Ethiopian icons used in our retreats (pictures below). Perfect for a first time student or anyone interested in non-Western depictions of the Christian faith.
